From the perspective of the entire valve market, there are mainly two aspects:
1. The domestic market is divided into new construction and expansion project markets, as well as old equipment maintenance and renovation project markets.
From these two markets, it can be seen that ordinary valve products are severely oversupplied. Secondly, there is competition among enterprises, disorderly competition, counterfeit and inferior products... The market is very non-standard, leading to some valve production enterprises suffering significant losses in fierce competition for years. From the demand of these two markets, it can be seen that with the development and improvement of the market economy, especially the progress of the World Trade Organization (WTO), the market changes are becoming more and more significant, and enterprises are increasingly influenced by the market. Users have a higher demand for market products, and their demand for product development and production cycles is becoming shorter.
2. Foreign markets. The foreign market has been very active in recent years, and competition is quite fierce. The import and export of valves in East Asia and Southeast Asia have grown rapidly, market trade between developed countries such as the European Community in North America has continued to develop, exports from countries and regions such as Germany, Italy, Japan, and China have expanded, and imports from countries such as the United States, the United Kingdom, and France have grown rapidly, forming a support point for the prosperity of the international valve market. Furthermore, due to the further internationalization of the world economy, multinational corporations will continue to promote the development of the international valve market, and regionalization of international trade has become another major feature.
2、 Domestic market
There are approximately 2300 valve manufacturers in China, providing several categories of valve products, over 3500 varieties, and over 40000 specifications.
(1) Valves for urban construction: Low pressure valves are generally used in urban construction systems, and are currently developing towards environmentally friendly and energy-saving directions. Environmentally friendly rubber plate valves, balance valves, centerline butterfly valves, and metal sealed butterfly valves are gradually replacing low-pressure iron gate valves. The valves required for urban construction in China are mostly balance valves, soft sealed gate valves, butterfly valves, etc.
(2) Valves for urban heating: In urban heat generation systems, a large number of metal sealed butterfly valves, horizontal balance valves, and buried ball valves are required to solve the problem of longitudinal and transverse hydraulic imbalance in pipelines, achieving energy conservation and heat generation balance.
(3) Environmentally friendly valves: In domestic environmental protection systems, the water supply system mainly requires centerline butterfly valves, soft sealed gate valves, ball valves, and exhaust valves (used to remove air from pipelines). The sewage treatment system mainly requires the use of soft sealed gate valves and butterfly valves.
(4) Urban gas valves: Urban gas accounts for 22% of the entire natural gas market, with a large usage and diverse types of valves. We mainly need ball valves, plug valves, pressure reducing valves, and safety valves.
(5) Valves for long-distance pipelines: long-distance pipelines mainly include crude oil, finished products, and natural pipelines. The valves that require the majority of this type of pipeline are forged steel three body full bore ball valves, sulfur resistant flat gate valves, safety valves, and check valves.
